1/4 cup (50 mL) water
1/4 cup (50 mL) sugar
1/4 cup (50 mL) lime juice
1 teaspoon (5 mL) tamarind paste
2 teaspoons (10 mL) Thai Kitchen® Premium Fish Sauce
1 red serrano chile, seeded, sliced in half rings
1 teaspoon (5 mL) chopped cilantro leaves
BRING water and sugar to boil in small saucepan, stirring to dissolve sugar. Cool completely.
MIX syrup and remaining ingredients in small bowl until well blended.
Makes 1/2 cup (125 mL).
