Sweet and Sour Chicken

A perfect blend of sweet and tangy flavour made from sweet plums this versatile sauce can be used for dipping, marinades and sauces.

Ingredients:

1/2 lb (250 g) sliced chicken


2 tbsp (30 mL) Thai Kitchen Premium Fish Sauce


1 tbsp (15 mL) hot sauce

 

1 tsp (5 mL) grated ginger

 

2 tbsp (30 mL) chopped garlic

 

2 tbsp (30 mL) vegetable oil

 

1/2 cup (125 mL) chopped onion

 

1/2 cup (125 mL) green pepper

 

1/2 cup (125 mL) red pepper

 

4 to 6 tbsp (60-90 mL) Thai Kitchen Plum Sauce

Directions:

1. Marinate 1/2 lb (250 g) sliced chicken in Thai Kitchen Premium Fish Sauce, hot sauce, grated ginger and chopped garlic.


2. Add vegetable oil to a hot wok; add chicken with marinade and stir-fry until cooked.


3. Add chopped onion, green pepper and red pepper; stir-fry until tender. Add plum sauce and mix until well combined.
